Tasks

A task is a simple to-do item — either standalone (a general reminder not tied to any client) or linked to a specific project (a step you need to finish before the shoot, edit, or delivery). Each task has a status — pending, in progress, completed, or blocked — and can carry a due date.

Tasks are the lightweight layer above prep checklists: prep is for shoot-specific preparation, tasks are for anything else you need to track, project-related or not.

What Lio can do: read your task list back to you — “what’s on my to-do list”, “what’s due this week”, “anything overdue”, “what’s still pending for the Marchetti project.” Lio can filter to one project, to a status, or to things due by a certain date, and will group and summarize compactly rather than dumping a raw list.

Lio doesn’t create, edit, or complete tasks on your behalf today — it’s a read-only view for now. Manage the tasks themselves from the Tasks screen in the app.
